Join Cory Riley, IDA President, and Melinda Richardson, CIDQ representative, for an overview of the 3 exam sections, writing strategies, and tips for the new PRAC 2.0. Melinda participated in a pre-test of the PRAC 2.0 and will provide study material guidance for this new computerized format. Afterwards we will have time for Q &A.

  • Paper, pens, or laptop
  • Snacks (Lunch will not be provided but coffee & muffins will be available in the morning.)

Calgary Mayor's Urban Design Awards 2017

Submission Deadline: September 5, 2017

The Mayor’s Urban Design Awards (MUDA) recognizes the contribution of Calgary artists, architects and designers to the liveability of our city. They leave a legacy of high calibre urban design, buildings and public spaces, and help set the standard for future municipal planning.

MUDA, a biennial awards program, offers 13 categories of award, including Innovative Housing.

CIDQ Ambassadors Program

 

The program has been on hold so that CIDQ could rework and streamline it. It has now been relaunched. For those who had already volunteered for this program, you would have already received the info from CIDQ on your next steps. 

Volunteers will be accepted into the program twice each year - January and July. You can provide your contact details now to be part of this important work.

What is an Ambassador for the NCIDQ exam?

  • An Ambassador is a practitioner, educator, or advocate who is committed to promoting the value of the NCIDQ exam and certification 
  • They are stellar examples and motivational role models of the industry’s highly skilled professionals
  • Their advice is sought by new and seasoned designers alike
  • Their influence and insights help shape the profession

What is the purpose of the Ambassadors Program?

  • Promote the value of the NCIDQ Exam and Certification
  • Mentor potential exam takers and guide them through the process
  • Engage a variety of audiences, especially students in their final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree seeking interior design program, as well as recent graduates
  • Educate students, colleagues, employers, employees, clients, and the public at large on the importance of NCIDQ Certification
