The main focus is two-fold. Firstly, it is held to showcase the latest products and services for commercial and residential suppliers to the Alberta Interior Design community. Secondly, it is an opportunity to bring the design and supply community together in an informal, social atmosphere to help in the establishment of mutually beneficial client-vendor relationships. Tuesday, September 24, 2019 Calgary, AB NCIDQ Update  Time is counting down to submit applications for the Fall / October exam. Applications must be submitted by July 15, 2019. Registrations for the exams open July 1, 2019.

IDC Presents Navigating Egress, Exiting Requirements, and Occupant Loads (Calgary/Edmonton) CEU: 1 IDCEC Hour (HSW)
This is an intermediate to advanced level seminar which identifies the fundamentals of egress and exiting, as well as how occupant loads affect exiting from suites and floor areas.Prerequisites are either a good working knowledge of the Building Code or the Building Code Fundamentals seminar.

The path to wellness, although based on good intentions, has not delivered desired results. Chronic disease continues to escalate and the associated health costs are not only financial. Stress is the number one factor contributing to a work population that is physically and emotionally unhealthy. 
Prizes
All winners will be published in the Awards issue of Canadian Interiors in July 2019, with the Project of the Year winner featured on the cover of the Awards issue. The Judges’ Pick winner of the Products category will receive a trip package (incl. flight + hotel) to Paris, France to attend Maison+Objet as a VIP in January 2020 (prize courtesy of Maison+Objet). Eligibility Projects must have been completed between June 2017 and June 2019. The project must be either located in Canada or an international project where a member of the design team is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Products must be physically prototyped, or if in production must have been launched in the market in the same timeframe as stated above. Any false representation therein will invalidate the submission and a refund will not be given.
